Adult Detention Center (Jail) Roster

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office maintains searchable public records on individuals who may have been received by, currently in, or released from the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center, commonly referred to as "the jail". Records are available for all current inmates and for 5 days following release.
Data is updated every 30 minutes. Persons may be in the intake/booking process and thus not listed on this website until assigned a booking number.

Using the Dashboard

The dashboard is defaulted to show all individuals in the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center and all case information. Use the filter bar to narrow results to one individual. If results are not narrowed, the dashboard will display case information not related to the defendant in the first table.
Search by first name, last name, age or booking number. To clear/reset the filters and start over, click 'Clear All'.

Data Access and Legal Rights

The following inmate information is provided as required by, and in accordance with Minnesota Statute 641.05. For more information on this statute, please visit the Minnesota State Legislature website. You have the right to access data under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. Requests for data not displayed here may be submitted to the Ramsey County Data Practice Request Form.
Please note the difference between 'Arresting Charges' and 'Formal Charges'. 'Arresting Charges' are the initial charges by the arresting agency at the time of arrest, based on information and evidence available at that time. 'Formal Charges' are the charges filed in district court following a legal review by the judicial system, including a city or county attorney’s office.
The arrest data, including Arresting Charges, comes from the arresting agency. The judicial information is sourced from the state's legal system. While Ramsey County, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, and the judicial system strives for accuracy in the data  presented, it cannot be guaranteed. There may be changes in judicial scheduling that will not be reflected. Users should be aware of this distinction for accurate data interpretation. Please visit Minnesota Court Records Online to search judicial case data directly.
