Service Delivery

Since opening in 2020, Ramsey County's Service Centers have worked to connect residents to a variety of public resources in a single place. During a Service Center visit, residents meet with trained 'Navigators' to address county-related business or apply for programs such as Social Services, Financial Assistance, Workforce Solutions and Property Tax Services.

Navigators are staff members trained to provide in-person assistance and remove the barriers and complexity of accessing county services like financial assistance, food stamps (SNAP), healthcare programs, childcare assistance and housing subsidies. Navigators rotate working at Service Centers and community partner sites to bring their expertise closer to residents and provide the best experience and outcome.

Service Centers offer a centralized approach for residents to access a range of government services. This approach streamlines administrative processes, optimizes allocation of resources and reduces bureaucratic barriers.

Service Centers will continue to prioritize excellent customer service, community engagement and inclusivity, to ensure that all residents can easily access the services they need.
