This story shares information about the annual Housing Inventory Count (HIC), done in conjunction with the Point in Time (PIT) count of people experiencing homelessness. It counts the beds available by type of services provided. It shows our capacity to address need and provide housing.

Ramsey County Veterans Services uses the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs’ Homeless Veteran Registry to help veterans find and secure housing with the help of federal, state and local partnerships.
Dataset showing the median amount of contract rent plus the estimated average monthly cost of utilities (electricity, gas, and water and sewer) and fuels (oil, coal, kerosene, wood, etc.) for renters if these are paid for by the renter (or paid for the renter by someone else). Gross rent is intended to eliminate differentials which result from varying practices with respect to the inclusion of utilities and fuels as part of the rental payment.
Count of beds (capacity) for people experiencing homelessness by type with data on beds for specific groups, like singles or families, and special populations, like veterans and people experiencing chronic homelessness.
Emergency shelter beds include beds available seasonally and overflow beds.
