Memorial Hall and the Vision of Peace statue are located at the center of the Saint Paul City Hall and Ramsey County Courthouse. The marble hall and statue were dedicated in 1936 to the war veterans of Ramsey County. At that time the walls were inscribed with the names of service members from the county who died during World War I.
In 1990, a donation of the Veterans of Foreign Wars facilitated the addition of the names of veterans who died in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
